By downloading or using FinTide ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Use of the App

FinTide is a personal finance portfolio tracking tool intended for informational purposes only. The App does not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, or any regulated financial services. All data displayed, including prices, values, and forecasts, is for informational purposes only.

You must be at least 13 years old to use this App.

2. No Financial Advice

Nothing in FinTide constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions. Past performance shown in the App does not guarantee future results.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

FinTide offers optional Pro subscriptions (monthly and annual) managed through Google Play Billing.

• Subscription fees are charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Google Play account settings
• Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policy
• We reserve the right to change subscription prices with reasonable notice

4. Free Tier Limitations

The free tier of FinTide is limited to 1 portfolio, 5 assets, and 3 alerts. These limits may be changed at any time. A Pro subscription removes these limits.

5. Price Data Accuracy

Price data is sourced from third-party market data providers and may be delayed or inaccurate. FinTide makes no warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of price data. Do not make financial decisions based solely on data shown in the App.

6. Your Data

Your portfolio data is stored locally on your device. If you use the Google Drive backup feature, your data is stored in your personal Google Drive account. You are responsible for maintaining access to your Google account. We are not liable for any loss of data.

7. Intellectual Property

FinTide and its content are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the App.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
